SoCal Filipinos Next Generation Leaders Scholarship Program

  • The SoCal Filipinos Scholarship Program is proud to enter its second year of investing in the next generation of Filipino American leaders.

    Established to uplift, empower, and support students in their educational journey, the program recognizes individuals who exemplify leadership, resilience, cultural pride, and a commitment to making a positive impact in their communities. More than just financial assistance, the scholarship celebrates students who are shaping the future and inspiring others through their dedication, service, and passion. Through this program, SoCal Filipinos remains committed to strengthening our community by investing in the leaders of tomorrow.

    Each recipient of the SoCal Filipinos Scholarship will be awarded $2,500 to support their educational journey and help them continue creating meaningful impact in both the Filipino and broader communities.

  • Eligibility Criteria

    Must be of Filipino descent

    Reside in Southern California (Los Angeles County, Orange County, Ventura County, Imperial County, San Bernardino County, Santa Barbara County, San Luis Obispo County, Riverside County, San Diego County, Kern County)

    Currently a high school senior or college undergraduate underclassmen (freshman or sophomore standing)

    Have a minimum 3.5 GPA

    Provide unofficial transcript

    Letter of recommendation from a teacher, counselor or community leader

    Demonstrate leadership, community service, or cultural advocacy
